Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Certified HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) cable allows interconnection between digital display devices, such as DTV's (Digital Television), Plasma displays, LCD TV's, and projectors, to Digital source devices, such as Digital Set-Top boxes, DVD/DVD-R players, and AV receivers. HDMI DTV's will display video received from existing DVI-equipped products, and DVI-equipped TVs will display video from HDMI sources. HDMI technology uses a much more compact and user-friendly connector than the existing DVI connector. The HDMI specification handles higher-bandwidth, uncompressed video, and multi-channel digital audio, all in one neat cable solution.

5 out of 5 stars Great value!   July 12, 2010
Jason Hajj
I bought this cable from BargainCell to extend HDMI from a TiVo Premiere DVR which has lower power consumption than the TiVo HD or Series 3. I mention this because I've read reviews from other customers who purchased different products reporting they could not get a signal on a 50' cable. I am glad to report that that is not the case with this cable. I was prepared to get an amplifier but was pleasntly surprised when this cable didn't need one. The cable feels heavy duty and the signal is great!

3 out of 5 stars not at 60hz   June 22, 2010
Chris Hobbs (San Francisco)
I ordered this to replace a 50ft cable I already had. Just like my other cable, however, this one did not work at 1080p 60hz. It did work at 1080p 30hz which I suppose is about as good as 1080i.

5 out of 5 stars 50ft HDMI cable   May 6, 2010

The cable is thick, works great and is a great price. I can detect no loss of picture quality vs the 6ft cable I used in the past. If you need a long HDMI cable I would recommend it.

4 out of 5 stars Decent Cable   April 22, 2010
Itlas (Lancaster, CA)
I used this cable to connect to a computer in another room. The picture looks great but the quality of the cable is only fair. Be very careful while running this through your walls to not damage it.

5 out of 5 stars 50 Feet with no Booster Needed   March 31, 2010
DeepDawg (Seattle)
This cable carried my HDMI signal 50 feet to my HD projector from my Panasonic Blu-Ray player without the need for a signal booster. This is at least partly due to the 24AWG but also the gold connectors probably help reduce signal loss.

Since I am running straight from player to projector, I am only using the video conductors of this cable but the image was very good. Excellent for the price.
